Bruce Springsteen is officially a billionaire! Forbes reported the news on Friday (July 19), conservatively estimating The Boss's net worth to be around $1.1 billion.

The beloved singer-songwriter, who became the voice of the working class after releasing his 1975 breakout album Born to Run, admitted in his memoir that he didn't enter a place of financial stability until the early '80s. Since then, his net worth steadily rose until a few years ago, when he had a financial boom. A big chunk of Springsteen's monetary gains came in 2021, when he sold his music catalog to Sony for an estimated $500-550 million. The sale marked the largest acquisition for a solo artist's body of work. According to data provided by Pollstar, Springsteen sold more than 1.6 million concert tickets, which translates to $380 million in revenue.

His concert ticket revenue will only continue to increase as The Boss plots tour dates through 2024. He and the E Street Band will be back to the States next month after rescheduling 2023 tour dates as Springsteen recovered from peptic ulcer disease. See the list of 2024 tour dates below.
