Actress Lar Park Lincoln, best known for roles in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood and Knots Landing, has died at the age of 63, Actors Audition Studios, a company she founded, announced in a post shared on Facebook.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and America’s beloved Audition Coach, on April 22, 2025. Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors," the company said.
Lincoln's cause of death was not publicly revealed as of Friday (April 25).
Lincoln made her first credited acting appearance in the 1985 CBS telefilm Children of the Night prior to appearances on the shows Heart of the City, Outlaws and Highway to Heaven in 1986 and 1987. The Dallas native got her big break as Linda Fairgate in the ninth season of the CBS soap opera Knots Landing in 1987, which she returned to in Season 11 in 1989 and remained through Season 13.
Lincoln later starred as Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, the protagonist opposite villainous main character Jason Voorhees following roles in The Princess Academy and House II: The Second Story. The actress later had a successful career as a writer, publishing the book, Get Started, Not Scammed, which served as a guide for readers looking to make a career in Hollywood and beyond.
