Are Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham plotting a reunion? They're teasing something, that's for sure.

On Thursday (July 17), the former Fleetwood Mac and Buckingham Nicks bandmates shared posts on their Instagram profiles that connect with each other. Nicks shared a photo of handwritten lyrics that read “And if you go forward…” and Buckingham completed the line on his Instagram page, with handwritten lyrics that read “I’ll meet you there.”

The line is from the 1973 Buckingham Nicks song "Frozen Love." Mick Fleetwood kept the buzz going by posting a video of him listening to the track with the caption "Magic then, magic now."

The signs seem to be pointing to a Buckingham Nicks reunion in some capacity, considering the song choice. Nicks and Fleetwood have both made it clear that a Fleetwood Mac reunion was out of the question following Christine McVie's death in 2022.

In addition to being music partners, Buckingham and Nicks were in a relationship when they joined Fleetwood Mac at the end of 1974. Their romance ended in 1976 but they tried to keep things professional for the sake of the band. Both members spent time away from the band and rejoined, before Buckingham was fired in 2018. Last October, Nicks revealed that the last time she spoke to her ex was at McVie's celebration of life, and that the conversation lasted "about three minutes." It looks like something changed in the last year.

We'll have to wait and see just what it is they're teasing. For now, see all three Instagram posts below.
